Badgers number one in Big Ten. I better enjoy it while I can. :)

And IU got dominated in the second half. Can't believe Wisconsin held on at Minnesota though. I was sure the gophers would take that down late. And Alando Tucker really hasn't been shooting that wonderfully lately. He warmed up late but hasn't been the man expected. He's putting up Iverson-like numbers from three years ago.
And I have to believe Paul Davis is the most versatile big man I've seen in a while. That big white boy has a stroke.

sure, paul davis can shoot, but no one wants a 6'11" shooting guard. I'll start believing in paul davis when he starts to play up to his size in the paint.

Arvydas Sybonis. I wonder if I spelled his name right. But he was a solid shooter from 15 and out and that was his main purpose, and he played well in the NBA. Of course I was probably 8-10 at the time.

right. I mean, he's good at what he does. which is not playing up to his size.
I just would like my centers to be more, well, like centers. Post players that'll rebound and dunk. not shoot a 18 footer instead of going after Indiana's sole post presence when they're thin on their front line.

if an international player is 6'11", he's a shooting guard

Not saying he may be the player expected, but there will always be some place for him in basketball because of his versatility, inside the paint or out. I like him personally just because he brings something different to the table. I can't believe I'm arguing Michigan State basketball with a Michigan State fan...I'm suicidal.

haha.
there is a place for him, i just find him to be incredibly soft. and I think he's an underachiever because of it. I think it hurts MSU more on the defensive end than anything.
Like, when he came out of the game for marquise gray tonight, suddenly, killingsworth had start further from the basket with the ball. where as when davis was in the game he started with the ball with almost both feet in the paint. I think his softness is more hampering on the defensive end and he doesn't make up for it enough with his offense, so he's overrated and an underachiever, in my mind.

Drew, I'm dissapointed in you, I think the badgers could win the big ten. I am almost positive they can win every home game this season which should put them at 8-0, they are lucky enough to not have to play at indiana or Illinois. They have an easy enough road schedual where I can see them finishing either 6-2 or 5-3. 3 losses will win the Big Ten this year.

I truly hope so, but everytime I get my hopes up for the Badgers, they let me down, I'm just trying not to get to high about it yet.
