I've always thought it was pretty underrated. Maybe even my favorite of the Python films. So many great sketches. The "Mr. Creosote" bit is priceless.

I love The Meaning Of Life. You can't really beat "Every Sperm is Sacred".

Hahah, I love that skit too, and the Protestant bit that follows it is too funny.

"Have I got one? Uh, well, no. But I can go down the road any time I want and walk into Harry's and hold my head up high and say in a loud, steady voice, 'Harry, I want you to sell me a condom!" For I am a Protestant!"

Meaning Of Life is great but Holy Grail will always be my favorite. It's just impossible for anything to top that movie.

"The Holy Grail" was my introduction to Python and I love it dearly, but it kind of got to the point where it was almost trendy to like that movie. I dunno. I just didn't get people who watched that movie and then called it a day when it came to Python.

And I don't mean people who didn't enjoy it, but kids who say they love it, and quote it endlessly yet they don't seem to be aware that there's two other movies and an entire television series out there. I'm probably just nitpicking though ha.

Eh, I understand what you mean. It does feel like Holy Grail is the movie that most everyone is familiar with for some reason. I mean, my dad would watch Flying Circus all the time so I saw a great deal of that show, and I've seen the other movies. They're all great stuff, but for some reason Holy Grail just grabs me more. Maybe the whole King Arthur parody thing, cause I'm a fan of that kind of stuff.

I see. I was never too big on Arthurian lore and the like, but yet I still find it hilarious. But I can understand how being into that sort of thing would help you enjoy it even more. I've just always been a bigger fan of the Flying Circus, and then when it comes to the movies, "The Meaning Of Life" became my favorite after seeing it a few times. I can't decide which I like more between "The Holy Grail" and "The Life Of Brian" though.

I think life of Brian is probably my favourite Python, but The Meaning Of Life is certainly underrated. As well as Every Sprem Is Sacred and Mr Creosote I love the liver donor scene and the scene in school.

You guys should tell a Python Neophyte in what order to watch the films. In year of release, or would you reccommend a different way?

I have only watched the Holy Grail but I was obsessive with the movie in Middle School. Is this worth watching?

I wouldn't have thought it really matters which order you watch the films in. They're all worth watching. If you've never seen The Life Of Brian I'd really recommend that.

Holy Grail was my first Python movie, and still my favourite.

Eh. I don't think it matters much which order you watch them in, really. But I would probably start with "The Holy Grail".

Haha yes, the live organ transplant scene/"the Galaxy Song" is great. And I love the school scenes haha.

"Gosh, we're all really impressed down here, I can tell you that!"
