Kaiser Chiefs (http://www.myspace.com/kaiserchiefs) and James Blunt (http://www.myspace.com/jamesblunt) are the leading nominees for this year's Brit Awards. Both received five nominations for the UK music industry's biggest annual awards show, which is slated to take place on February 15th. Coldplay (http://www.coldplay.com) recieved four nominations, while Franz Ferdinand (http://www.franzferdinand.com) and The Arcade Fire (http://www.arcadefire.com) scored three.

I think the Kaiser Chiefs are a good band, but a bit overrated.

i never knew the arcade fire were nominated for the international awards. i hope they win. i think they're better than all the brit acts that are nominated.
bands like reuben should be nominated for the brits. all the bands that seem to be in the running are rubbish every year. gorillaz are marginally okay.

James Blunt's pretty cool. When I first heard KC's I thought they were pretty good, I'm sick of hearing them now though, it's getting as bad as The Darkness.

I saw The Kaiser Chiefs open for Weezer and Foo Fighters and it almost made me wish that I came to the show late. Wow.

i agree. also james blunt makes me cringe. i do like acoustic stuff. but he's very overated.

i saw reuben the other day at a private 18th party and the girl gave them a grand
they deserve it though they are sweet.xo
