Feels like it won't work as well onscreen. The story was unbelievably gripping, but feels better on the page.

Few King stories actually work filmed, this just happens to be a personal favorite and its simple enough that it can work on screen. Slater, no-name director....sounds direct to DVD, but of all the one's listed this is the one for me.

To be fair, I haven't read it in awhile, but I just felt like the only way it could work is a short. Isn't most of the story him just digging the grave?

I am most intrested to see how Cell would do out the choices here.

Ya the husband designs a plan to dig a grave big enough for a car, and manipulates the highway to get his wife's murderer there. I think it will make an interesting movie, but certainly won't live up to the short.

How would Everything's Eventual work? Isn't that a collection of short stories, one of which is already a movie?

EDIT: I loved reading Cell, so the movie will probably be sweet as well.
