He finally apologized for his drunk ski comments, but I thought they were amazing. I can't even comprehend skiing drunk down at the speeds they do.

Asked if the risk meant he would never ski drunk again, the 28-year-old Miller replied, "No, I'm not saying that."

Simply wow.

I kinda want him to win the Gold Medal now

nope, but I love watching it, and when I skiied a lot, I appreciated it more. I can't believe there has been no olympic hype really, its crazy.

from the box score, it looks like Blagoj Janev happened.

They shot the lights out. I have no idea where it came from. Their center would set up from 25 feet out, well guarded, and just drain it. They were making shots they shouldn't have even been taking. And the coach decided to start running the offense to get the ball to our freshman point guard (he's a stud at 5'8"), when the way we always win games is by going inside the paint. Between those two, that was the game.

Exactly. He was good from beyond the 3 point line and he's their fucking center.

Okay, so I got that wrong, 4 for 10, but still, 40% for a center isn't bad.

Oh, it was Christensen who was 3 for 3, I got the two confused.

that's probably because i heard there's something like a 3% chance of it snowing there before the olympics.

Yeah but my class is on Thursdays, so yeah. I hope somehow he can reschedule it, except that we have private instructors reserved so I'm not sure how that works.

Because their freshmen and sophomores are finally playing up to their potential. God I would love to have Hinrich back though.

They also have had a fairly easy schedule for their last 6-7 wins (save Kentucky and Cal), but they have been playing very well during those games.

Oh, and they lead the nation in scoring defense, which suprised the shit out of me.

Haha, only center I know that shoots better from 3 is Pittsnoggle (the man shoots like 40-45% from 3, with a 4-5 night the other night against Nova)

Edit: This is a funny stat, WVU's C and F combine to shoot 5-10 on average from 3pt land.

In two years KU will be in the top 5.

No doubt, next year even, they got the #1 PG coming in.

It's nice that on "off year" is 9-4 and a chance to be 2nd or 3rd in the Big 12.

Funny you mention that because there was a sideline inbounds in front of the student section last night and some kid yelled "33, you fucking suck, you're worse than Pittsnoggle and I hate that fucker" then his buddy goes, "you hear that, someone from West Virginia is better than you! And West Virginia sucks more than New Jersey and I'm from New Jersey!" It was great.

Yeah, I miss skiing (downhill anyway) a lot. I still X-country ski a lot though, and I like that more actually.

And yeah, it's starting to get colder here too it feels

I love major international competitions (Olympics, World Cup) because it is usually by far the most passion you see from athletes when they play, except from our basketball team who is really only caring about who they play when they come back
