the new stuff i heard on purevolume is quite excellent. i didn't get to see them on the tour with mae but i'm definately going to make it out to the early feb show in SLC with veda. it's a true claim that they have a police sound. it makes me feel good too that some smashing music is coming out of NO; we need that right now.

Mute Math is incredible live. Paul has one of the most energetic stage presence's I've ever seen. When I saw them with Mae and Circa Survive, the drummer put duct tape around his head in order to keep the headphones around his ears covered. Needless to say, he did an incredible job....he certainly beat the crap out of the drums. I cannot wait for this album.

Coming from the epidemy of typical generic scenester who, between leaving taking back sunday lyrics to describe how he feels in his live journal and making little snide remarks on message boards about bands that have more talent than he or any band that he is in will ever have, probably spends hours on end on his J.F.K haircut (straight in the front, blown out in the back) and makeup. Make sure you hide all of those generic bands that you call your favorite bands in your profile before you come on here and say something about a band with incredible talent.

thats good to hear that it'll be in stores at some point...even if it's fall, it'll be worth the wait.

i was watching the video on purevolume. I was wondering what was that thing he was playing that sort of looks like a guitar but isnt. He was throwig it around toward the end of the video.

If you're going to rant on the guy, at least learn to spell: "epitome"

"epidemy" sounds like an epidemic or something, which isn't too far off either...

It is a robot that he built. It is shaped like a guitar. If you look down where the bridge would be on a guitar, there is eyeballs and a mouth ha . The neck is just a long strip of material that when you come in contact with it, it makes spacey noises. crazy

They call the "robot" 'The Atari'. They talked about it in their October 25th blog on MySpace. The thing is pretty crazy.
