View Full Version : Easy acoustic songs.
So I just bought a guitar, know nothing about music and want to play. I bought an acoustic left-handed guitar and I was wondering what were some easy songs to learn first.

There are lots of songs on Ultimate-Guitar that have the "Chords" option... Those are pretty simple to play and sing along with.
Swing Life Away by Rise Against was a pretty easy learn if you're confident reading tab.

The Animals - House of the Rising Sun
Bright Eyes - Lua (if you have a capo)
Modest Mouse - Bankrupt on Selling
Third Eye Blind - Slow Motion
They're all simple chord songs that are easy to strum. Left-handed guitar is awesome until you're at a friends house and you realize you could never pick up their guitar and just jam out on it.

I know you asked for songs, but if you just got a guitar, I think you'd be better off learning different techniques and chords etc. That being said, if you do want to play a song, Wonderwall involves a very few amount of chords and is very easy to play.
