And if people see them as more than a pop-punk band with good lead singer, they are foolish. But, originality isn't exactly something that pop-punk breeds off of.

i remeber when they werre the opener on the fob/ten/ltj tour in 04. litteraly nobody had even heard of them and nobody was moving. they still called themseves the academy. they put on a real good show that i thought beat early november by a mile. fob almost upstaged ltj with a real energetic set but ltj encored with gainsvile rock city and look what happened and just beought the house down. one of the best shows i've seen

Checkmarks is still Checkmarks. Slow Down is still Slow Down.
Almost Here is the same low budget record as it was yesterday.
A tv show changes nothing. my heart is the same, my face is the same.
I wish people talked about being excited about new songs and the new record and the world tour we're going on instead of being upset about the same band they say they loved yesterday being on a tv show, and now they question that same band. fundamentally, it makes no sense.
I'd like to thank those of you who are continuing to see with genuine eyes, and hearing with intelligent ears and intent. music is music. art is art.

and what is more rocknfuckinroll and punk than having a rock n roll band with a low budget diy video, partying in NY? more rocknfuckinroll than cigarettes, bad breakdancing, flasks, hot tubs, and fuck you attitudes on the same show as Ashlee Simpson and Mariah Carey? more rockinfuckinroll than being in every home in america singing about something exciting , thought provoking and real? why not give pop culture a big fuck you and stir things up a bit? we still bleed for our fans, we've toured and are touring our asses off, and we wouldnt be in this position if it werent for our fans.
