No big deal, not alot of Buffalo fans here anyways. I wonder who they are going to hire.

chris mortensen just said the early candidates are Jim Haslett and MARV LEVY. haha ...that would be hilarious.

i guess its still not a done deal on whether or not he leaves. bills called a press conference for tomorrow morning though.

once levy was hired by the team, i was expecting a pat riley type situation to happen.

wouldn't surprise me if it actually does happen.

ive checked espn 3 times in the last 3 hours and each time the article has changed ...

1st it was "he tried to resign but is reconsidering"
2nd it was "resigned, the door is open for marv levy to return"
now it says jim haslett and ted cottrell are the front runners for the job.

at the rate this is going jim kelly will be the coach by this time tomorrow and thurman thomas will be his OC. The Bills seem like they have no idea what they are doing, which I guess is why Mularkey resigned.

Why? Mularkey was incompentent here not only as a head coach, but as a play caller. He took over the playcalling in the 5th or 6th week of this season, and 95% of the bad play calls happened after he took over.

ralph wilson has completely lost it. hes sputtering like a fool during this press conference and i would be scared as hell if he were making decisions for my team.

levy just said he wouldnt be considered for the coaching position.

Ralph Wilson is the fucking man and the only reason we have a team in Buffalo is because of him. Just becuase the guy is getting old and has speech issues does not mean he cant make good decisions. When he dies that is most likely the end of football in Buffalo.

That being said this whole situation is like you said earlier, kind of messed up. I think Ted Cottrell deserves a job somehwere in the NFL, i dont know how good he would be though.

I'd love to see Jerry Gray and Ted Cottrell as an Head Coach/ Defensive Coordinator combination, either way.

I don't want Jerry Gray to leave because I want there to be SOME continuity on the team, otherwise there's going to have to be a complete roster purge.

But then again, I'd like to see Jim Haslett as head coach too.

tell me how your speech is when you're pushing 90 years old.

tell me how your speech is when you're pushing 90 years old.

it was beyond his speech ...he had some pretty crazy answers. someone asked him what he was looking for in a coach and he said "someone who could oversee the whole operation and coach the team". he just didnt seem in a great state to be running a football team, which is no doubt because of his age. i would just be a little nervous if that were the owner of the patriots right now.
