For some reason i cant find it now, but i read the article talking about everyone comparing Adam Morrison to Larry Bird and if that's just the easy way out because he's a sharp shooting white guy. Considering how many Larry Bird comparisons I've heard that was kind of interesting, and i go on NBADraft.net occasionally (Yes, i know, the information isnt all that accurate all the time) but i noticed they're probably the worst offenders. Alot of times they'll compare players with siblings if they happen to play or have played in the nba, and there are many instances where it seems like they match people up that happen to look kind of alike. In this year's incoming draft class, they compare the white players to other white players, such as Adam Morrison to Larry Bird, JJ Reddick to Steve Kerr, Nick Fazekas to Kevin McHale (I've never seen him play, but i'm doubting that), Paul Davis to Chris Mihm, and even more "coincidently" Tiago Splitter to Pau Gasol (comparing a Brazilian forward to a Spanish forward, they even kind of look alike) and Juan Barea to Carlos Arroyo (Puerto Rican Point Guard to Puerto Rican Point Guard). It seems like this site, as well as alot of others I've seen, take the easy way out in that respect. They also have alot of stupid inconsistencies, not so much with the incoming draft class, but even for the last one they have stuff like seeding Channing Frye as the 8th pick and comparing him to Jarron Collins, but seeding Andriuskevicius number 27 and comparing him to Ilgauskas. After much research, this is a terrible site, and on that note, i realize i got terribly off topic, but a couple questions for people. #1, what are some good NBA draft board sites, #2, what are everyone's opinions on the issue race plays with this kind of stuff and what they've seen, and #3, if they think it's as bad as it seems.
