For those of you who were fans of Home Grown, Save Ferris, and April Sixth you may want to know about a new rock band comprised of members of all three. Ian Cone(Home Grown), Evan Kilbourne (Save Ferris), and Robert Geiser (April Sixth). The band is called Cozette and they are originally from Salt Lake Cit, Utah but are now based in Southern California working on a new record with Engineer/Producer Erich Talaba who has engineered records with (anberlin, fall out boy, linkin park). The band just posted a new acoustic unplugged video for the song "Everything Changes" which was recorded at the Guerilla Union Studios in Downtown Pomona. In the tradition of the acoustic, comic duo, we bring you Gonken “Live From Steve’s Mom’s House.” Dubbed as an electro-punk geek, Gonken has never shied away from exploring various musical genres including industrial, noise, punk, hip-hop and electronic music—all peppered with his unique blend of humor and lyrical eccentricities.

However, how his music would sound acoustically has remained unheard, until now. Although during 2004-05 Gonken’s live show often included a few acoustic numbers that received positive fanfare, it wasn’t until late 2009 (after two humorous unplugged shows on Seattle’s Hollow Earth Radio) that the audacious audiologist decided to team up with BK5000 in order to discover how his electro-punk songs would translate to just two acoustic guitars and a microphone.

Someone who was a fan of Legalfreemusic (http://www.legalfreemusic.tumblr.com/) decided to create an RSS tool for the blog. Basically you put in your Last.fm user name and it finds music on the blog that you might like based on your Last.fm profile. It's not perfect because not every post has a "for fans of" on the post but for those posts that do have it, it works pretty well.
