Blink got me into pop-punk which lead me to Brand New who got me out of pop punk and into the music I listen to today. Blink made me pick up a guitar and dress in Hurley throughout highschool , now I don't give a fuck what I look like. Deja Entendu is the best record out of either bands catalog and Lacey is the best lyricist this scene has. Blink-182 has put out 4 incredible albums (5 if you count Cheshire which I love ahha). Brand New has put out one album that was 3/4 of the way good (Deja). YFW is so crappy (aside from the no seatbelt song), and The Devil and God has 3 good songs. Brand New is soo overrated it makes me sick. Yes, I can see their talent, and I listen to them sometimes..but, dammit, BLINK-182 is my all-time favorite band. And I still listen to them regularly.
