Tekken (2009 Film)

Should be a blockbuster. Only cost a cool $130 million. Will be coming out around the same time as Tekken 6 in the fall.

In the year of 2039, after World Wars destroy much of civilization as we know it, the remaining territories are no longer run by governments, but by corporations the mightiest of which is the Mishima Corporation. In order to keep the masses down, Mishima Corporation sponsors the King of Iron Fist Tournament in which fighters compete to the death for ultimate glory and receive a lifetime of stardom and wealth. We are introduced to this violent world through the eyes of Jin Kazama, a street fighter that enters the tournament in order to avenge the death of his mother that he blames upon Tekken's powerful and controlling chairman – Heihachi Mishima. He knows that the only way to get close enough to Mishima to kill him is to win the tournament, but in doing so, he begins to uncover his own past and inner demons as well as exposing a dark underbelly to Tekken that threatens the very existence of humanity.

Why is Xiaoyu there and Lei, Paul and Lee aren't? Fail.

Anyway there's plenty of badass with Bryan Fury, Eddy and Yoshimitsu.

After Mike Werb wrote a script, it was rumored that Jet Li was going to play a fighter named "Boxer/Bonner" in the movie, and Stone himself had previously said that Li and Jackie Chan had expressed interest in the project in the past.

I did. All I recall right now is I saw some titties (Nina, I think) coming out of the shower to Lee's room. Lee was a badass, I wish he were in this movie.
