Ronny Turiaf that is. He's signing with the Lakers, choosing them over Spain, and will join the team on Monday. Good for him, had open heart surgery, and is ready to play...he should get the Tedy Bruschi award or something dumb like that.

Chucky Atkins could be in a Pistions uni soon.

Since the Artest to the Clips is dead...the wolves have a package of mccants and kandi man for artest that's being talked, but the interesting one was the Rockets...they're in discussion with other teams, in what would be a three or four way trade that would bring artest to houston. which, if he wasnt happy with his role in indy on offense, he really wouldnt be happy in houston...but if he can get his head out of his ass...t mac, yao and artest...all healthy...could be huge.

two pierce rumors...pierce to the bulls for gordon and tim thomas(expiring contract)

and pierce, blount, and davis for ben gordon, tim thomas, and the knicks unprotected first round pick.

Good to see Ronny Turiaf back.

Yeah, throw in Artest on defense, and that's a scary team to play since T-mac has shown he can put up 11-12 points in about 20 seconds.

Damnit, i hate to see Ben Gordon go from Chicago, I loved the combo of him and Hinrich, but I guess it means Kirk has a chance to shine more.

And damn, the Celtics know the season is over, because thats their top 3 scorers going in that bottom trade, and Tim Thomas isn't even close to being a game breaker. It also adds some incredible versatility to their line-up, as they'll have Deng, Piatkowski and Pierce who all can play guard and forward spots. And with Duhon improving, Hinrich as well, yeah, I might have to watch more NBA games if that happens

If that bottom trade happens, I got the Bulls as a 4 or 5 seed in the playoffs, and with Hinrich passing to Pierce, Davis, Blount, and Deng, I like their chances to win a series or two.

turiaf is great. althought im not a fan of the lakers it is good to see him go back because the lakers did indeed pay for the surgery. very nice on their part

yeah definately. kudos to the lakers.

and if pierce went to the bulls...along with davis...they could be scary...they would just need a legitimate big man.

Word up here is the pacers won't give artest unless scerbiak is involved. I think if they gave Mccants, Ndubi Ebi (sp.), and cani... they may have a shot. Mchale is too stupid to do that though. We will just suffer and garnett will demand a trade as soon as the season is over.

I like both trades for the bulls though.. I love gordon, but that second trade(blount pierce) is drool worthy.

ndubi ebi was cut before the season started.

I would love for the Celtics do to that 2nd deal. This team needs a serious overhaul with the veterans and this accomplishes that with Gordon and a lottery pick (most likely).

He's in the NBDL right now... I'm pretty sure he's still associated with organization...

Edit: i didn't even see davis in that trade.......... holy crap, the bulls would be retarded not to do that.

he's not assoicated with the organization at all. he was cut from the team to make room for ronald dupree.

naw, whoever said that was an idiot and shouldnt be broadcasting haha.

he's not even in the nbdl, because the nbdl only allows players who've been in the nba two or less years. the wolves tried to quitely send him to the nbdl, but with that small factor of the two years rule, he was ineligible. the leauge of course rejected the wolves plea to send him to the nbdl, and just cut him on november first to make room for dupree.

yep, and thats why this trade is a great move. to move forward you need to sometimes take a step backward, and the long-term ramifications of this deal benefit the celtics. this current group is headed nowhere ..although i wonder where they might be if they had a legit coach.

Your basketball knowledge astounds me.

How do you feel about gordon and the celtics...

i think it COULD be good. if its the first scenario with just pierce for gordon and thomas...that's kinda iffy to me. but i think alot of celtics fans would be happy with it.

the bulls lineup would be scary with the second scenario though.

pg: hinrich
sg: pierce
sf: deng
pf: chandler
c: sweetney

bench:

duhon
davis
blount
nocioni
songalia

that could be a potentially deadly team in the east. the only thing the bulls lack is a good big man...chandler is a bum...trading him for elton brand is one of the dumbest moves ever...if the bulls had elton brand right now...they'd be a contender.

yeah he's played center a few times this season...he's in the doghouse right now, but he's the teams best option there, or maybe chandler.

I like chandler's hustle... Well, I haven't seen him much this year, but he used to work hard. His talent isn't up to par with many other players though. If half the NBA worked like him, the league would be in a different class.

And I agree with larry brown. It works out well because the biggest idiot is Isaiah thomas.. they fit like a glove.

tyson chandler is proof that going to college is a good idea.

and tim thomas and dajuan wagner are proof that not everyone should come out after their freshman year.

Maybe they could pick up Collison or Wayne Simien and have a Kansas trio.

sweetney at center?
yeah, I figured him and Chandler would split time there along with Blount if he comes in on the trade.

And I don't mind losing Gordo as much knowing that Pierce is coming in, Duhon and Hinrich are vastly improving, and they can always pick up another guy out of college this year.
