Went to the sold out chicago date last night and it was simply amazing. I got in the venue a little late because the Aragon security are a bunch of inept douchebags. I missed the openers because the will call line was massive so when I got in the YYYs had already started their set. Karen O is one of the best performers I've ever seen live. Her voice was flawless. She gives it her all and I was surprised at how humble the band really is. Nearing the end of their regular set she looked into the crowd and said "This is one of the biggest headlining shows we've ever had. Thank you so much for coming out" She threw in the generic "YYYs love Chicago" but it didn't seem forced. Their set (or what I caught of it) consisted of:

I'm pretty sure I heard Phenomena when I was outside waiting to get in but don't quote me on that. haha

This tour hits PHX next week... or this week... forget, but was thinking of catching it. They were great at Coachella a few years back.

I waited too long to get tickets- all sold out. Damn....I should have known. I only waited less than a week, too.

Yeah they sold out the riv here in a couple days so they moved it to a bigger venue and the show sold out again. haha that's impressive.
