Is it bad that my favorite record from them is War Profiteering Is Killing Us All?
I rock out to that pretty frequently. "Junk" is a jam.

Not at all, it's my favorite album of theirs as well. "Bottomed Out", "Junk", "Hands Tied", "95% Of the World Is Third World", "Nuclear Generators" and the title track are all awesome.

I listened to this band once a while ago and I liked them. I'll check them out; I've been on a really big punk/ska/hardcore kick lately.

Hell yeah! "Red Flag" is awesome too. I got it on a whim because it was the only record I could find by them at the moment, haha. Destruction By Definition rules as well but I like War Profiteering a lot more.

For sure. I dig "Red Flag" alot too.
See, that's the same thing with me haha. I bought it on a whim after I heard "High Anxiety" and loved it. I ended up getting A Match and Some Gasoline and Destruction By Definition later on but yeah, WPIKUA is still my favorite.

Destruction and War Profiteering are the only two albums I have from them, haha. Guessing A Match and Some Gasoline would be the best album to get next? I haven't listened to this band in awhile.

I think I've heard a few of their individual songs over the years. Any recommendations as to where I should start with them?

Good man! Thanks! My friends and I are doing a ska/punk band, I figure that's the reason why.

love the avatar, glad minor threat is still receiving recognition.
As far as the suicide machines go, I picked up my first TSM record about 10 years ago, "Destruction By Definition" And although I never got into their albums much after "Battle Hymns," "Destruction By Definition" is still my favorite ska related record ever.

Ah, cool. Do you guys have anything recorded yet?We do not. As of right now we've just worked on two covers ("Sound System" by Operation Ivy and "99 Luft Balloons") to get on the same page musically, but we're almost finished writing two of our own songs.

Destruction By Definition is the best thing they've done by far. Really good live. I miss them :-(

Cool. Be sure to post some stuff once you've gotten something recorded though. I'm interested in hearing it, haha. Have a myspace for the band or anything yet?

Have a myspace for the band or anything yet?Nah we didn't want to make a myspace without having anything recorded. My friend Doug's got a 4-track he's letting us borrow though, so when we do put something up I'll definitely let you know.
