the CCHA has this horrible rule (i think it's just our conference) where if you get called for check from behind you're gone from the game, automatic, no questions asked. it's ridiculous.

Man i wish i could watch more of your conference. so many good teams in it.

do they? i didn't know if it was an ncaa rule or if it was more conference by conference type thing.
I think it's a horrible, horrible rule. It does nothing but encourage players to put themselves in harms way by turning at the last second 4 feet from the boards to draw that penalty. Thus, endangering themselves. it's a shitty, shitty rule I think. I understand it's intentions, but it'll be used to garner an advantage which isn't what it was put in place to do.

yeah good luck beating the already dominant badgers when they practically have home ice advantage, as the frozen four is in milwaukee this year.

its their year, and robbie earl will have his national title and will be able to jump to the NHL. and i will be sad.
