Oh kind toymaker, with your factory of gold, make me the greatest toy the world has ever known.
Build it with care, please take your time. Break out your finest paints and do give it life.
Place it in a fine box, wrapped in paper and bow. Parade it down the avenues, take the main roads to my home.
I'll answer my door, a shimmer in my eye. You've brought me a friend, toymaker, you brought me a smile.
But like every new friend, this one will die. The paints will then fade before I say goodbye.
