Honestly, I hate all the hype this band has been getting on this site lately. I saw All Time Low live, and I thought they were generic pop punk. There's nothing new about them, nothing special about them, and nothing talented about them. They're just like any other pop punk band out there that plays variations on the same chord progression for all their songs.

ill admit nothing music changing or amazing but its not supposed to be. but the fact remains that they are 17 and made one of the best pop/punk cds i have heard in a while.

One of the better pop-punk bands out there, no one is saying they're revolutionary. Plus their lead guitarist can bust out a few good riffs every now and then.

Go see them at the Recher and it should change your mind. Their old cd = shit. Matter of fact I used to hate them. But the new cd is waaaayy better than anything I ever thought they could've put out.

I guess my not well articulated point was that what you're describing is the sound of their old cd, and that their newest effort is way better and doesn't really fall into the terrible cliche category.

What's new about them- They are who they are "All Time Low." there's room for improvement heck for them and all of us. What's special is they take criticism constructive or destructive in stride. Breathing in the many invasive germs fighting them off with cosmic sea antibiotic creatures. What's talented about them is they've made it where they are now. Working together. Considering many bands over the years and now to this very second didn't work together not making it to signing or the local venue from their bathroom or garage in their small myspace. Older material for certain bands is by far better in lyrics sometimes than the new stuff. The sound fluxurates thorughtout the years. Some bands remain the same. It bothers me when I or anyone says "I Hate this band or that band. I have been making it my duty to say I dislike or perfer them not. Hate is so strong it hurts me bones.

Dude, don't you get it? I'm in med school right now, and I don't give a fuck about getting any attention for my music, which is a hobby of mine. Lots of bands from Maryland are great, but All Time Low is not one of them. Same deal as Hit the Lights.
