I've got my ticket for the LA date. Damn shame it's at Hotel Cafe, though -- 21+ venue. A lot of my slightly younger friends are royally pissed off. Some of them are talking about the Anaheim show instead, and I'm not opposed to seeing Copeland/A&B twice.

checked out some myspaces and twitters, and found out that sherwood had rv troubles. they will be starting the tour in albuquerque. also, it seems that anchor and braille also couldn't make the first date but plan to be at the albuquerque date as well. good news, i think.

also, sad to see that copeland didn't play love is a fast song but pin your wings is nearly as good for me!

Also at the Tulsa date last night. Both Copeland and Meese were fantastic. Talked to Copeland's merch guy beforehand and he said they were planning on switching up the set-list quite a bit throughout the tour. Bummed that they didn't play much off of BMT, but they made up for it with sheer greatness. Talked to Aaron afterward about the whole "Tears of a Child" thing and he said something about possibly scoring Andrew Bowser's next movie. Sounded legit.

i bring you the first ever setlists for anchor and braille and sherwood for this tour

anchor and braille
rust
sleep
blur
wedding funeral
sing out
like steps in a dance

sherwood:
middle of the night
new song
no one to love (also new)
for some reason, i felt like i knew this song but going through my music i think it may have been new
the town that you live in
for the longest time
song in my head

anchor and braille was very good. mellow set, for sure, but he was awesome. it sounded very much like most of never take friendship personal or the tone of unwinding cable car. it was nice since i'm not as fond of the new anberlin. sherwood was amazing. they were all really stoked to be on tour again and you could definitely tell from how energetic they all were.

i felt the same way. they didn't have all that much time, though, and they're really trying to get people pumped for the new album since they haven't been on tour since 8 months ago or something. but, yeah, i would have loved to see alley cat or give up.

They are doing a headline show in Columbus 9 days after the show with Copeland in Akron. I am going to both because I'm right because I'm right between the two cities. They will probably play Alley Cat there because their set will be way longer at the the headline show.

Good set. For love affair, he did the song completely by himself with a guitar. It was good, but I would have preferred if he just used the piano that he was standing right next to, like the original version... Hey guys, I am new here, so hello! I went to the show in Louisville last week with a DSLR and got some awesome shots of the performances. I have the album on facebook if you want to check them out, edited, of course.

And yes, it was an incredible concert, and a very intimate venue. It was very cool to be able to hang out with Micah, the guitarist for A&B and I talked to Aaron a bit at his in store appearance.
I have still been listening to these artists nonstop since then. {I have replicated the setlist in iTunes and I am listening to it now.}
<3 Anchor & Braille. Barcelona is a new favorite of mine as well, as I had not heard them before this concert.
