But all the intricacies I have found and all the amazing theories surrounding the show make lost more entertaining for me. Lost is so unbelievably deep. 24 just can't match that. Especially with no jack development (which we will get this year because his mentor will be in it). I love both shows immensely. 24 for its unequaled enjoyment, and lost for its depth and character development.

I won't lie, I am fairly ignorant of Lost. And mostly posted this for a 24 thread for myself. Now then, that said, the deepness of Lost is intriguing me. And I want to see what all these numbers are about and whatnot. Fascinating.

As i've said numerous times, 24 is better than Lost. Lost is entertaining because of the many layers and the subtle yet clever clues situated around each episode. However, 24's structure and character development is so much easier and interesting to grasp.

However, as said before, Lost and 24 are different.... opposites even.

Lost is ridden with flashbacks of about 20 different main characters.
24 is a real-time burst of energy situating around one man.

The writing in 24 is the best I've ever seen in a TV show, and the fact that they can squeeze so much drama and action into a day still astounds me.

In short, 24 > Lost > Everything else.
