Frank, is AFI the very special reunion for a cause? I guess it would make sense since the reunion is supposed to be a band that just hasn't played in a long time, and AFI fits that category perfectly.

It was just to trick us. Man, I check Bamboozle for updates more then myspace for friends. It would be sweet though, already have my two day tickets...just need airfair and a hotel. Anyone wanna split a hotel?

Yeah, but in another topic about the bamboozle Frank mentioned that it was misleading since it wasn't a reunion as in the FSF one last year, but just a band that hasn't played a show in a long time.

which makes me lean towards AFI being "the very special reunion for a cause", although it could also be Brand New, Something Corperate, Sparta, or some other band none of us are thinking of.

It's definetly AFI. However, Brand New still might play, because i read a quote from Max Cruise on a bunch of bands that "may be playing, but he couldn't say anything"...so far, all of those bands have been confirmed minus brand new, which makes me think he's holding off announcing them.

i'm almost positive that AFI IS playing, i've heard it from some reliable sources. i'm being led to believe that the "reunion" is another Lifetime gig

as long as i get to see my 2 favorite bands (afi, thursday) i will go home a happy boy..hopefully though AFI will play thier own show in the area around the same time

This is the weekend after my finals. (UCONN)
Last year it was the weekend before.
I prefer the weekend before, because this time I might be really screwed and have to resched some saturday
exams, which I pray that I do not have.

AFI would be nice I guess.

AFI is not bokren up so it owuldnt be the reuniting. I could see maybe The Movielife geting together since they are from around there or maybe GlassJaw. The Get Up Kids maybe.. but thats too short of a reunion since they just broke up not even a year ago.
