Awful That NIN Has crucified Monkey Image in Closer

I hate that NIN (Nine Inch Nails) has the image of monkey crucified in their Closer video. I like their song Closer though, It's a very creative piece. Please comment on this concern.

What do you hate it for? It's depiction of the crucifixion (Jesus = monkey etc) or the fact they're crucifying a monkey, and its animal cruelty?
