If you're talking Western as most people know it I'm going with a tie of Once Upon A Time in The West and Wild Bunch

As for all western films McCabe & Mrs.Miller which is not only my favorite Western but may be a top 5 film of mine ever.

I very much enjoyed The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. A bit overrated and a bit slow, but still quite enjoyable.

I know it's the last of the good Westerns, but Unforgiven is a great movie. His transformation in the end is just awesome. High Plains Drifter is pretty cool too.
