Is it hard to get cheap tickets like the grandstand or bleachers on the day of the game?

Depends on who they are playing and on what day/time it lands on.

Definitely not from what I've seen. Hit up stub hub and you can usually find bleacher or upper deck seats the day of game.

face price as in 1250 bucks? yeah im sure those are very easy to pick up judging from the huge empty seats behind home plate. Grandstand and bleachers are usually sold out though.

did you miss the part of the sentence where he clearly said stubhub?

Actually every game of the season is sold out.

It does depend on the game and who they're playing. Bleacher seats for the Mets series are going for like $100, but you can buy them for a week night game against the O's for face or under. Unless you want a big ticket game you should be fine.

Exactly. I tried to take my parents to a game when they visited a few weekends ago and they were playing the Phillies... and I could have if I wanted to pay $1200 for 3 tickets a few hours before the game (which was on a Saturday). But as everyone has said, hop on stub hub and search around, you should be able to find something decent in the bleachers/grand stand.

The stubhub market is picking up. It's still mostly around face value, with under face for the premium seats, but the days of 4 dollar Grand Stand seats like back in april are over. However, if you see the Legends seats for 150 again, take them. Best deal in the stadium at that price.

if you find the right game, they'll basically pay you to go.
