i just watched this last night... it reminded me of an even better version of The Ring... it was really good, kinda freaky

I like the ring better too... they seemed alot a like but the ring was better... and scarier.

i have only seen the ring and it wasn't that scary, i guess cuz i was watching it with 2 friends and we hd all the lights on in the house but it wasn't gory really much at all, and i hear that fear.com is gory as hell, i guess i'll have 2 wait and see

I am going to watch fear later on but the ring is the best, but The Ringu is better the 1st one

I guess the reason I didnt like it so much is cause I knew what was gonna happen and that kinda ruined it. maybe if i saw the japanese one first, i'd think it was better

They were alike because the Ring was originally a japanese movie, but while they were remaking it for US release, anotherr company got hold of the script and made their own version - feardotcom.

My opinion was that they both sucked, but at least feardotcom had good special effects. I remember laughing my ass off when the horse fell off the boat in The Ring, though.
