what is it with singers in the genre recording notes the either can't or don't hit live...don't get me wrong, I thought that sounded pretty good (TAI), especially compared to Panic, but a lot of the higher notes he hits on the record aren't there...he does some kind of bemoaned low voice thing throughout the song in its place....oh well tho, at least it's on key

T.A.I did well on MTV Good for them!
AX7 does and always will blow huge donkey nuts. I accidentally saw them open for shai hulud/stretcharmstrong and in about 2 minutes the room had dwindled to about 45 of the 200+ that were there ha.

yeah that made me feel good in my tummy. i just remember seeing fall out boy back in october and no one knew the words to songs off of TTTYG. I was singing "chicago is so 2 years ago" and some girl asked me what song i was singing
:-(

oh trl.
trl was an experience.
tai was really nervous, william finally became more comfortable during the end of the song and by then their performance was over.
they still were amazing, so proud of them.
panic! turned after their video introduction and just said "this is so weird".
you're puppets when you're in the studio on trl though. if they told us one more time that we actually needed to show excitement i would have killed a bitch.

Good stuff. I'm a big fan of The Academy Is...
everytime i see avenge sevenfold i want to fucking puke. i hate to judge a band on their image, but it's just so pathetic that it completely destroys them. they wear more hair gel, makeup, and accessories than most girls i know. i'm waiting for them to be carrying around studded black leather purses.
i like how some girl cried during TAI's performance
haha yeah, she was talking about it on some message board.
apparantly pretty much all of the audience was tai fans and they had to be told to act more into avenged sevenfold.

the people that worked there kept yelling at my friends and me because we weren't showing enough enthusiasm for avenged sevenfold. i have zero respect for them and their music, so i spent most of the time mocking them enthusiastically. p!atd seemed so nervous, and the academy is...i don't know, they just make me really happy for some reason. i had fun, but it's ridiculous how staged everything is. i expected it because i'd been to a couple recordings of "imx" when it was still on, but it's still kind of silly.

the only thing i dont like on mtv overdrive is how the crowd distracts from the actual host when hes talking, they keep screaming every 5 seconds, with the director behind the camera (which you dont see) waving his hands to make them scream, and it feels shitty...i wanna poop after hearing that

Hey man, that was real tough!! Coming from the typical, generic, 18 year old wank of a person that you are. Your words/opinion on music mean nothing to me, seeing as how you have over 100 favorite bands listed in your profile, meaning that your one of the assclowns on this board that eats up everything he hears.
Bottom line, your dad should have pulled out....... You are a waste of an orgasm.

If MTV/TRL got a hold of The Receiving End of Sirens 'planning a prison break' video and it was shown to the TRL audience and they got some exposure, I think the world would shit it's collective pants. They would fall to their knees and a musical revolution would be born.
Same goes for As Tall as Lions, and The Junior Varsity.
and my side project entitled, ''the man in the yellow hat''
not really
i have no side project

When I saw Panic! live the singer didn't even try for the high notes, which was very dissapointing.

I was outside the studio when A7X performed, and I stood in the MTV store and watched TAI's perforamance and P!ATD's interview. Good stuff. I guess I picked the right days to visit NYC.
