I'm thinking it was staged. Somebody always knows everything. Either way, Eminem always has the most fantastic reactions to awkward situations.

Eh... He doesn't zoom in on Eminem until AFTER Bruno lands.

I mean, I think most of it was staged BUT, I think that there was some of it that was not. If it was staged don;t you think MTV would have asked them not to just start swearing so it didn't all have to be bleeped out?

I think that it was staged to the point that MTV knew, the camera guys knew, Sacha Baron Cohen knew, but I really don't think Eminem knew. I mean, look at all of the other stuff he did for his movie... This guy got Ron Paul into a room and then stripped, he crashed huge fashion shows, etc. Is it really that hard to believe that he could easily do this without Eminem knowing? It actually seems real likely that Eminem DIDN'T know the plan. Especially because I can't see Eminem agreeing to a skit like that.

Who the fuck cares? Eminem has zero fucking relevance; and topping it all off, his attempt at returning to music is a terrible effort. Sacha Baron Cohen has made tons of money off of characters slung into "reality" except that it's more staged than Broadway theatre. Still funny, but come on.

Anyone with a fucking brain gave up on Eminem when they got halfway through high school. Recycled and rehashed, in the worst way possible. Mainstream relevance isn't in question, but he released the album, people are buying it and realizing it's shit. Commercial success =/= relevance.

1. Most of his stuff isn't staged, come on.
2. This was staged, Eminem knew and played his part perfectly. Argument over.
