For All Those Sleeping - The Lies We Live

Who?
One of the latest bands to enter the screamo scene. Hailing from St. Cloud, Minnesota, this band is full of youth and may not be adding anything new too the scene, but doesn't disappoint.
How Is It?
It's not a bad start. For All Those Sleeping try to incorporate many styles in their music and keep it interesting. They do this with great ease, which is easily demonstrated on The Lies We Live.
Right off the bat, "Hands So Red on a Face So Pale" hits with a sonic scream combined with smooth vocals, and it's evident that For All Those Sleeping has multiple vocalists. Each vocalist has a different style, which makes this EP interesting and entertaining. One of the vocalists can go from high screams to deep growls with ease, and the clean vocalist has a great range as well. "How Can You See With That Lust in Your Eyes?" shows off both styles. The two vocalists switch back and forth and it sounds spectacular. This is something that I think For All Those Sleeping should incorporate more in their songs.
The guitarists do a great job all around. They can easily switch from just the basic chords you are used to hearing, to intense breakdowns. In "Tacoma 1987: When Dreams Come True," the guitarists play great leads accompanied by the sonic screams I mentioned earlier. The drummer is very good and uses the double bass style to his advantage. The musicianship of For All Those Sleeping seems to mesh well together. In "Bear vs. Bear Grylis," the band uses a stop-and-go technique, and throws soothing vocals over it (reminiscent of Hawthrone Heights).
The Lies We Live is a great start for For All Those Sleeping. I think with a little more production and variety, For All Those Sleeping could have something going.
A less whiny and annoying Alesana; screamo; Akissforjersey; Hawthorne Heights with more screaming
