sorry, but i dont see that at all. he doesnt hit any crazy highs in the chorus of that song on the album, nor did he live. i'll agree, he sang the chorus slightly differently, but he certainly wasn't having trouble.

It was funny when Josh said "shit" and the whole audience went silent.

Yes he was. And if he wasn't having troubl, something is wrong because he was flat on a lot of those notes (out of key). Watch his face and listen to the the note he hits when he says the word "suffering" (he completely cringes), and he obviously sings the last few measures flat for a reason.

i love how michelle nolan added practically nothing considering she wasnt singing into the mic/the mic wasnt even loud enough. and i mean you have a female back up...you think they would actually use her to do the only female parts in the song...the 'hey hey'
who else heard that dumb trl bitch call co&ca's song "im suffering"...fucking trl, cant even get the name of the song right...
I heard it, but hey.
Anyone else wondering if the singer from TAI is being told to look and act exactly like Adam Lazarra in his old days, or if he's just doing it himself?

I don't think he looks that much like Adam aside from being skinny but I do think he acts like him a little.

i thought it sounded pretty good. when fob was on there i couldn't shit.

michelle nolan did sing. and yes you could hear her.
and at least the singer form tai doesnt swing the mic like adam..otherwise it would be too obvious

"Not now boy", "you've been", and "oh where have you been if it hurts to be forgiven, bye. bye bye" are all sung by a female on the record as well.

Yeah, I have a live thing that came from best buy with good apollo and he loses it sometimes. Aside from the chorus he did pretty well there though. Still that is one of my favorite albums last year.
While I dislike TRL bigtime I do fully appreciate Coheed getting some big attention.

Was anybody else a bit let down by The Adacemy Is's TRL Performance? Nonetheless, they are still one of my favorite bands but i agree with you guys on the fact that they had some trouble staying on pitch when it came to vocals.

bill beckett has always looked like a bad mick jagger, which kinda translates into early adam lazarra sans the mic swinging.
as someone who's seen the academy start from nothing, its so errie seeing them on trl, and the girl with the homemade tshirt is lucky i dont live in nyc because i would have hunted her down if it was the last thing i ever did.

yea for sure....i have this friend, who is also an AP.net poster (sometimes), who would always rave about them on and fucking on, i think he saw them like 9 times at the Knights Of Columbus in Arlington Heights, i gave their EP a few listens here and there but I never really got into them until a few months before their cd dropped. I wish i would have gone at least once to the KoC just so I could say Ive seen them in that setting before they got huge.
and i really do want to know why michelle nolan was there......what if her and claudio are dating......that would be total "Nick and Jessica" for the scene. or just "Beauty and The Beast"......i wonder what their kids would look like. We could just ask Conan O'Brien.....haha damn now this huge rumor is going to spread. bored.

I hear you it being REALLY wierd seeing TAI play on TRL. As much as i want it for them, I don't. I mean, almost two years of following them and now I'm going to have to see them in a crowded stadium instead of some small and intamite club. I'm going to miss it, but TAI really deserves it.
At least I'll be seeing the 360 tour at lupos, i'll just have to get there really early. *sigh*
I really like thier performance, the chours sounded a lot better than on the album, it seems like he's changing his singing style a little bit.

The Academy Is has got to be the most unoriginal band ever.
i thought that was michelle
i enjoyed it... and the fact academy is in mp4 format... fits nicely on my video ipod
and if im not mistaken i think john may have been playing the organ.

Too bad that the Co&Ca video is .mov and TAI is .mp4. Neither will play on my zen vision. What's wrong with mpegs? And I'm too lazy to use software to convert the formats.
