Amazing I heard most of these songs and the Fold is my new favorite band. I get to go home from college and now I can listen to the Fold great day. I have been listening to the Fold since they formed and they always seem to impress me.

I really just feel bad for any new band that signs to tooth and nail. It looks like a great opportunity from the outside looking in, but its pretty much like signing a sheet that says " we are entitled to 285+ days of your life a year, your crappy van that we wont provide, and promising that you may break even financially at the end of the year, with very little support from us!! Welcome to the family!" Its a dead end street, with the exclusion of a handfull of bands that i can think of off hand right now. Mae, Anberlin, Underoath have had good luck up to this point, off of sheer talent alone. Any other band, like TJT,Zao etc... had to move to different labels to succeed before this horrible label drove their careers inot the ground.

TJT got sucessful off of emotion is dead. that's what made them the juliana theory. love was a disappointment to many(although i enjoyed it), and people STILL talk about emotion is dead to this day.

Totally untrue. There is some crazy statistic that NO band that was on T&N ever went on to sell more records elsewhere. So the opposite of what you said is actually true. just saying.

every band has to make a catchy song or two, so dont get down on the fold about that... and catchy songs all sound similar and that's just how it is. the lyrical content is so strong though that you can't deny the fact that the fold is an amazing band. they are all personable and really talented guys who love God and love what they do. i say if you love the fold, thats awesome because they are a great band to appreciate, but if you are on the fence with the fold i say.. go to a show or do some detailed listening. its tasteful talent you can't deny..:D

? They hit it big before Warriors EP? T&N released the Warriors EP in 1999. Their first radio singles didn't come until the Fundamental Elements of Southtown, which was released after they were on Tooth & Nail. That's irrelevant anyways - the statement was that no band has ever gone on to sell more albums than they did with T&N, which is obviously false.
