POD was derivative bullshit 5 years ago, riding the coattails of shitty nu-metal acts that didn't deserve any publicity. The only thing that set them apart was that they love Jesus. I am not a fan of POD anymore but I was for a while, but Sufjan stevens is way more talented then them and only retarded people and ignorant children can't see that. Listen to his arrangements, they are simply astounding. If you like POD thats fine. I'm sure they are great people. Don't put them on a fucking pedestal though.

And they did it with a style that brought them into the mainstream. Some bands will blow up, some won't, but you can't hold success against the ones that attain it. Whether they're out-of-this-world creative or not, they made music that moved bodies, and there's nothing wrong with that. So I mean, if you wanna hate them for whatever reason, that's your prerrogative. But I think you are way out of line.

No noe puts Sufjan on a pedestal here. If he sucked he wouldn't get respect. if he becomes the most popular musicianj tomorrow and his work doesn't suffer, he'll still be tlaked about. Astounding arrangements don't have to be old to be good.
