Old Underoath v. New Underoath

i really like changing of times but new underoath is more of my taste. define the great line is probably my favorite album from them.

Both are way too different to compare them. Personally, I like the new one better, and consider They're Only Chasing Safety as being pretty much in between the two styles; transitory if you will.

and Spencer fits well with Underoath.

I haven't really listened to Underoath in a while, but I used to really like their new stuff.
However, I also do not want to select that option because Spencer is not cute and no one should listen to them because of that anyways.

Define The Great Line and Lost In The Sound of Separation are such awesome albums.

Underoath is almost a completely different band from what they were ten years ago. They've changed their sound quite a bit throughout the years, but wouldn't everyone if they experienced as many member changes as them.

Old Underoath was great, Act of Depression, Cries of the Past, and The Changing of Times were all worthy albums.
New Underoath is also good though. I'm not much of a fan for They're Only Chasing Safety, but i really liked Define the great Line, and Lost in the sound and Seperation.

It's all just personal preference, some people like the new style of Underoath, some people prefer the old style, and some people appreciate both.

My Opinion : I prefer new underoath, however i still very much like old underoath.
