I think I just failed out of college....this sucks balls mightily. Now I have to move home, explain to my parents how this happened (slept through a midterm i stayed up all night studying for) And I'm going to be the only person in my group of friends to drop out of college. This sucks....any sympathy (heartfelt or otherwise...i'm not really picky at this point in time) would be appreciated

Well I'm really not sure...First step is moving back to Chicago. I guess I'm going to live at home. I'm not sure if i'm going to start going back to school or what. I interned at my dad's office last year, and I'm actually helpful/not a wast of space just sponging money so I might do that. But a couple of my sisters friends (she's 22) work at the Merk (the chicago stock exchange) and I was really close to being kicked out at the semester and they told me they could get me a job there no problem. So I might do that.

But yeah, I don't know what I'm going to do, I just really don't want to talk to my friends, cuz i mean they're not going to care cuz they're all cool and stuff, but that's going to be really embarrassing especially cuz i used to be really smart in high school. I had like a 3.8 was secretary of National Honor Society, and now i'm not in college.......damnit damnit damnit damnit damniit fufeas'dfji sdfj

man, that sucks a ton...my best friends older sister did the same (well almost) thing in december...she was failing a class, stayed up all nite studying for the final, alarm didnt go off, slept through the test and ended up failing the class...lets just say winter break at the thompson's house wasnt a happy one...got really close to having her scholarship pulled, but ended up going back to finish out the year

How did you even get into college in the first place, you cant even spell "dammit" right. Just kidding man, that sucks balls dude. Maybe college just wasnt ur thing. I think ppl place too much importance on school. Besides, u could prolly get into another one. As for the songs...how bout : The Casualties, The Virus, Clit 45...they are all very angery punk bands. things will get better man, dont worry, they always do.

Jesus.... thats really awful. One midterm fucked you over that bad? As one who takes my schoolwork pretty seriously, I cant imagine how that feels, and I feel really bad for you.

Your later posts made it sound like you had a plan, and thats good. I mean, its not like your going to be flipping burgers or anything.

You say "I think" - does this mean you have a chance of staying?

Ok this is the whole story cuz I know that doesn't seem normal that one test would end my college career. Ok so last semester I had some girl trouble, got all depressed and shit and just stopped going to class. I officially got kicked out, but I appealed and got back in . I was reinstated on final probation, the stipulation was that I would need to get all B's and higher. Well as of now I'm getting all A's. The test that I missed made up 40% of my grade for that class...So that's a zero on that. I'm going in before class tomorrow morning to try to plead my case. If that doesn't happen, then I'm going home....Oh yeah checked out most of the songs...thanks

it'll be alright. we all support you :D . Just think of it as a minor set back. Some people made it big without college... bill gates... as much as we hate the rich fucker...he was a college drop out, wasn't he? and look at him now... Just hang in there. You'll find a way to make it out on top so we can all hate you and your money j/k. but you'll find a way to get on top of things.
