last year this team surprised everyone in the big east tourn and i think made it to the elite 8 in the national. this year they started the season with such high expectations but fell off the radar with 3 losses early to texas, kentucky, and lsu. all these games were close with the exception of kentucky, who suck ass. since then theyve gone 11-0 with wins over nova, oklahoma, and big wins in the big east over marquette and georgetown. i dont hear people talk about them often on this board so i wanted to know everyones opinion of how far theyll go in the tournament. its still early, but polls are fun.

i think they are the real deal. A top 10 team who shouldnt shock anyone if they do make the Final Four. They play hard and are well coached, but I think they lack the overall talent to beat teams like Duke, UConn, Texas, etc. in March. I say they go to the elite eight and lose. Overall, an underrated team though.

I think they have a pretty solid shot at the sweet sixteen. After that it depends on how their bracket plays out. They're good but I'd be surprised if they knocked off a top team, not that that couldn't happen.

Elite 8 is where I see them right now. They're a good team, but like LeftWideOpen said, they cannot compete with the elite of the elite teams. Right now, I see Uconn, Duke, and two big 10 teams making the final 4.

If I had to pick a Final Four right now ..I'd say Duke, UConn, Michigan State, and Texas. Texas has bounced back from a couple of early season losses in a big way.

i agree with everything said, but last year i didnt take them seriously, and they started beating real teams. right now they have an 11 point lead over ucla with 10 left in the second half. this team knows they dont have the flare of duke or uconn and it fires them up, makes the team real close and puts confidence in each other.

They'll be a #2, maybe #3 seed and run into problems playing a #1. Give them a few years to recurit more talent and they'll be a power.

LeftWideOpen- im not sold on Texas. They have beat some impressive teams this season, but come march when they're playing a #1-3 seed Big 10 team, they could have trouble.

Duke is the only team I'd say has proven that they have a good chance to make the final four so far. If Uconn plays good tonight then I'll put them up there too, just slightly below Duke.

ucla cuts it to 4 with little over 5 left. good game. and yea wvu will def get some better recruits in the future but this team is so close that i hate to see them leave

almost the same squad as last year...i think they'll have that march experience and a good shot at making the elite 8 or better
