GTA, if the writers for the VG worked on the film adapation. They've proved they could do a Mafia movie, a Biker movie, Street Gang movie, you name it.

As much as I love Zelda, I don't think it'd translate well into a movie. I think Metroid can though.

Definitely not a Zelda movie - a 2 hour film wouldn't do the franchise justice and it would just be terrible.
Metal Gear Solid could work - it's practically an interactive movie as it is. The plots of the games are strong enough.
Earthworm Jim could also work - there was a TV series after all.
Metroid could also work - just a sci-fi action movie. Would have to be big budget otherwise it would come across as tacky.

In all seriousness though, I've always thought Contra, Casltevania, and Metal Gear Solid would make awesome summer blockbusters. I also think Earthworm Jim could be a great comedy with the right twisted mind behind it. I also think Beyond Good & Evil would make a great film, as would adventure games like Monkey Island and Broken Sword. And I'd give my left testicle for a Lunar movie done well.
