there are at least 4 other presidents on that list that i would pick before Reagan. he was a very good president, but i definatly wouldn't consider him the best by any means. but thats just me.

There were many Presidents befor who spoke out against Communism. The US is NOTORIOUS for its persecution of communist. This was going on long before reagan came to power.

except for the fact that the ussr was already in decline at the time and its hold on the outer countries was slowly crumbling at the time. he just happened to be in office at the right time. kind of like bush jr happend to be in office at the "right" time, so he can now win control over the senate and shit.....
