You just beat me to this. Wish I could've seen this fight tonight, I watched the first match last night, where Morales simply was too fundamentally sound. Apparently tonight Pacquiao just dominated the final five rounds because Morales couldn't handle the heat of Pacquiao's constant punches. First time he's ever been knocked down tonight. Very impressive win for Pacquiao.

Watched the fight... Morales is simply too worn down and has had too many epic battles to really do anything further in his career. Pacman started slow, but he hit Morales a few times in the fifth and really stunned him. The punches took a toll and Morales tired like I've never seen before and basically was knocked out by fatigue rather than good clean punches. Now we all get to look forward to Barrera Pacman which should be a fucking classic.

Great fight. You should have seen Morales' nose during the post-fight interview with Larry Merchant. That shnoz had to have been broken in 3-4 different parts, and it was swelling by the second.

Morales looked great early on, but Pacman just wore him down. Manny looked fresher in the 10th round than he did in Round 1. And the announcers were commenting on how Morales' trainers were rubbing his legs down between every round (I guess to loosen them up) but they only succeeded in making him more tired so I don't understand that philosophy.

Ah well, serves him right for firing his dad.

Great fight, that flyweight fight before was an excellent fight as well. It wasn't advertised at all on my local cable but I saw it was the pick of the week in SI so I decided to get it, glad I did.
