PATD is surprisingly good live.

Seems like that is one of the few differentiating factors between them and FOB. :)

Can't wait until Panic tour the UK now. They are seriously blowing up though. I mean, even Fall Out Boy rarely got plays here when their album came out, and Panic's video was on MTV2 the other day.

Shame their singer couldn't go higher though, I thought his voice was a bi croaky live.

I really liked how Panic! changed the song around for the live performance, it sounds pretty good. That guy has a killer voice live, almost spot on.

a lot of people bashed panic's live show, but i thought they sounded pretty good. these kind of shows usually are a test to a bands live sound and i think they did well.

Maybe you should listen again. He is not even close to being spot on. he didn't hit any of the high notes

I didn't watch this Panic! video, but I watched the thing they did on discover and download and I thought the vocals were terrible. He didn't try for high notes at all, it just sounded to me like his voice couldn't sing his own songs and he knew it. I thought it was funny that Armor for Sleep was on the same day. I cannot stand them live. Ben is just not a good singer and it makes me cringe listening to them live.

i guess i am, i mean, i've seen them three times (not by choice though they were playing the higher, weatherbox and forgive durden who i went to see) anyways, those three times that i've seen them they were really bad. and then seeing them on that mtv thing and the carson show just proves that they are horrible. he can't sing live.

i'm not saying the album is horrible, i'm saying they are horrible live.

you must have caught him on three bad nights.. that sucks for you man... cause i saw them once in canada and they were flawless.
the mtv discover and download was painful to watch though.

they sounded pretty good on the show. the first song sounded tonsssss better than the second. & the whole show revolved around them. carson would not stop saying panic at the disco.

I really enjoy myself a little Panic!, but why is the focus of this forum on them? Am I one of the few that think that MCS should be getting more props for their live performance being outstanding as compared to Panics being alright? Maybe I'm being biased since I was at this MCS show at Jimmy Live though ;)

hey folks, P! ATD haven't been around that long...

and understand that singer's are limited by their voice capability, maybe the rest of the band needs to tune down to accomodate him, most band's do that.
