I know, it's ridiculously in-depth. I ramble, it's what I do. If you're interested, hit me up.. It's all pretty solid gear.

GUITAR

For Sale: Epiphone Les Paul Custom, Black(ebony) with gold epiphone hardware. I have ALL new, Gibson hardware for this guitar, along with a Gibson 490 pickup for the neck position. I just never had any of it installed. She's a beauty right now, but toss some brand new Gibson hardware on her and she'll shine like brand new.

Price: These guitars (with standard pickups and hardware) go for $650 new, and seem to go for about $400 used on ebay. I'm looking to sell this guitar for $350 without the hardware and pickup. $475 if you want me to throw in all the hardware (tuning pegs, bridge, tailpiece, pickup rings, and pots. I replaced the pickguard already, so that's already a gibson part.) and the brand new, never been opened gibson neck-position pickup (which retails at atleast $125 usually).

Blemishes: there's a slight paint-crack inbetween two of the knobs, nothing that affects the sound or playability of this guitar. It doesnt even really affect the look of it of it, unless you look at it and know it's there.

Extras: As stated in the price, I'm also hoping to part with all of the Gibson hardware and pickups that I have for this guitar. I'll also throw in a padded Gibson gig bag, a new set of strings, a strap, and probably some picks that i've got laying around.

Reason For Selling: I've grown very attached to my Fernandes Native X, and I'm purchasing another one (or two) of those, leaving this guitar on the auction block. I still like playing it from time to time, but, it's not right for me right now.

For Sale: Hughes and Kettner Vortex, 2 channel, solid state 80watt guitar head. This was the head I bought with my first half-stack, It's really not a bad head, I got some great tones out of it, including in the recording studio. A nice, thick, yet defined distortion is easy to achieve, along with crip cleans.

Price: i'd like to get around $100 for this head, as it is still absolutely functional, powerful, reliable, and it delivers fairly good tone. A great head for someone just beginning, but wanting a larger amp. A budget-head, if you will.

Blemishes: This head has seen better days, that's for sure, but it still doesnt look all that bad. All the knobs are there, everything has stayed clean, it's got some knicks in the wood that it's built with, but a little creativity with some black/gray spraypaint would make it look just like new if that's important to you.

Extras: I'll include the brand new one-button footswitch that I had to buy seperately ($40) from this head, for ease of switching channels without being at the amp head.. or the use of your hands, for that matter.

Reason For Selling: I bought a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier around this time last year. I kept this head around with the intention of Tom using it for keyboards, but he found a head that works much better, leaving this one useless to us. Still a quality and cheap head though.

BASS

For Sale: Ampeg B2R, 350 Watt solid state bass amplifier head. I bought this when I played bass and our bass player used it for a while, along with my Ampeg 6x10 (which has been sold). It never gave us any major trouble and it's spent most of it's life in the rack-case that I'm selling with it. Everything is fully functional, and in very good shape. We recently had it overlooked by a trained ampeg specialist, along with some very minor repairs. While we were doing that, Jim bought a new bass head, so since then, it hasn't experienced any major use since, except us making sure everything is in perfect working order.

Price: Selling it with the 4-space rack that it's attached in, I'd like to get $350 for it. That seems to be close to the going rate on e-bay or in Guitar Center for these heads, used. So, essentially, I'm throwing in a rack-case for free.

Blemishes: It's got some road-dings on the faceplate from before we had the rack-case for it, but nothing major. Everything is still visable and functional. All sliders, knobs, nuts, and washers are present and functional also (one of the knobs isn't the original, but it works just as well).

Extras: You'll get the power cable, along with the rack that this head came with. There's not a whole lot I could possibly include with this.

Reason For Selling: Jim upgraded his bass rig and I don't play a whole lot of bass anymore, leaving this head useless, except as an unnecessary back up when we've got bigger shows. It'd be nice to get rid of it to a new home that would continue it's valuable use.

I've also Got A GIBSON SG Case, the brown one with the pink/sexy inside. It's got some dings, I think $75 is a decent price for the condition it's in, I remember paying a bit over $100

If you are at all interested in any of these pieces of gear, please contact me here or at PlunketChris@aol.com Prices are negotiable, I'm really looking for a fair price on gear that I don't use anymore. I look forward to talking to some of you soon. Take care.
