I love Jeremy Piven -- Entourage is one of my favorite shows of all time. This looks like it could be hit or miss though.

im surprised this movie is not gettin any hype here
this has probably one of the best comedy ensembles ive ever seen
-jeremy piven aka ari gold from entourage
-ed helms aka andy bernard from the office
-tony hale aka buster from arrested development
-david koechner aka champ kind from anchorman
-craig robinson aka daryl from the office
-ken jeong aka leslie chow from the hangover (asian dude that was in the trunk)
-rob riggle aka officer franklin from the hangover (IN THE FACE!!!!) and the daily show
-ving rhames...enough said (black dude in all those zombie movies)
-and will ferrell with a guest role
next to inglorious bastards, this is my most anticipated movie this summer

I'm so looking forward to this, it looks fucking awesome. Piven is the man. I was watching Say Anything like a week ago on TV and I realized that Jeremy Piven has a small role in it and I was like "oh shit, that's Jeremy Piven!" He's one of the guys hanging out at the gas station when John Cusack asks them for advice about girls.

I disagree. I think "Knocked Up" or "Wet Hot American Summer" or, if we want to look to the future, "Paul" have much better ensembles.
This is just another Will Ferrell movie with Jeremy Piven stepping in for him. And there's something I just hate about Piven.

i said it was one of the best ive seen.
knocked up does have a funny cast but its very similar to most apatow movies, and ive never really seen all of WHAS but besides michael ian black nothin really stands out for me, plus jeanne gorrafalo just negates any comedic value that was in
this movie is grabbin the funniest from various other bigtime tv shows/movies

LOL are you fucking kidding me? One of the best comedy ensembles you've ever seen? The only person who has ever even starred in his own vehicle is the one whose career has gone down the shitter. And that person is merely getting the cameo treatment.

Haha. OK. First, please see Wet Hot American Summer as it has MIB, but also Paul Rudd, Bradley Cooper, Elizabeth Banks, Michael Showalter, David Wain and Chris Meloni.
And Knocked Up was only the second movie by Apatow so he wasn't exactly reaching from the well over and over. Besides most of the people weren't even stars at the time (not even Seth Rogen), the closest was Paul Rudd. But now you have Jonah Hill, Jay Burachel and Martin Starr ("Freaks and Geeks"), Jason Segel, Kim Jeong, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader - an amazing cast of people that have gone places now but were basically little-knowns then.

Meloni was funny in that movie i remember that, i didnt kno paul rudd or b cooper were in that movie (of course ive only seen parts of it long ago)
and knocked up, again, had a great ensemble. as a side note, i dont think seth rogen makes a good lead. he usually gets outshined by someone else in the movie. every funny movie ive seen with seth rogen, he had a supporting role (40 yr old virgin, superbad)
ill admit i probably shouldnt have used a phrase like "the best" comedy ensemble, but those are some big names, its more like the boston celtics of comedy ensembles
i just look it at like this, jeremy piven makes me laugh, tony hale makes me laugh, ed helms makes me laugh...therefore all three together will make me laugh

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know that a collective group of people who make you laugh equates to one of the greatest comedic ensembles in the history of film. I actually just hate everything -- I have no soul.

Jeremy Piven seems like such a frat guy douche bag, which is fitting considering that the only people who watch Entourage could be described in the same way. Hence, this movie looks terrible.

Outside of the older guy, yes. The older veteran guy was the only reason I didn't walk out.

You're insane, lol, it was random and raunchy and it delivered. I've shown this film to at least ten other friends who all agreed that it was as funny as something like The Hangover. The previews just showed the airplane scene and the bank bag bursting in Ken Jung's face over and over, Will Farrell's appearance wasn't even in the commercials until after the film was released and no one payed to see it (except me?)
