Did anyone read the article???!?!?!

"Palumbo said Head Automatica will be touring as much as possible in 2006, and that he'll also be buckling down and devoting serious time to Glassjaw's next album, which could surface before the end of 2007"

:):):):)

i hope that article gives all the gj fans like myself the hope they needed. im excited for all the projects mentioned.

if anyone on here is in the tristate area, feb 23 head automatica is playing the webster theater in hartford. more importantly, before their show they will be making an in-store appearance at phoenix records in waterbury, ct, where i work. i think im gonna die. they'll be chillin, talkin, and signin ish. daryl has popped in a few times since their old tour manager is from waterbury (never while i was there of course), and there are tie between friends in hatebreed and the guys at phoenix. but yea everyone should come thru and love it.

I really disliked the demo I heard of Graduation Day; hopefully it has changed considerably. If that demo is any indicator of the album as a whole, it could be the biggest disappointment I've had in a while.

i hope this shit is in the vein of "At The Speed Of A Yellow Bullet".....definately my favorite track off of Decadence for sure. That song is fucking dance pop at its finest.

It has changed a _lot_ apparently. The lyrics are still the same, but it is produced a helluva lot better, with cheering at the beginning and such. Should be good!

That's quite a statement.
I think it's pretty hard to compare the two though.

The show wasn't so great. Daryl was pretty fucked up and he looked like shit. I don't know if it's a sign of a Crohn's episode, but he was REALLY pale and sick-looking. And he started off most of their more popular songs (such as Beating Heart Baby, which was like the 4th song they played) by saying "fuck this song." On the plus side, the band was pretty tight.

They also played I think 3 new songs, maybe 4. If these songs were any indication, I have to say that the new album is going to be really disappointing. The crowd was mostly unresponsive to the new material.

The opening bands weren't that great (at least, I didn't dig them).

Overall, the show was really awkward. Since they played what is easily their biggest hit in the first half of their set, the crowd didn't know the encore was over until they got up and left the stage.

I'd probably give this show a 2 out of 10. If last night was any indication, those of you who have missed out on seeing this band in the past aren't missing much.

i actually missed 2 of the openers. i can't remember the name of the other one. but both rock kills kid and morningwood weren't anything special, imo.
