I didn't see a thread for this?
Anyone planing on going? I think it would be pretty cool show.
(I would go, but I have an important exam the day after they're doing a show here. This makes me sad.)

I'd go also, but they're unfortunately skipping on Atlanta...sucks, this tour is going to destroy.

Lol I feel so irresponsible on here when people have enough willpower to say they can't go to shows because of exams. My priorities are so poorly ordered.
But I'm definitely hitting up the Buffalo date, I hope they inocporate Savior, The Dirt Whispered, and maybe some more Siren Song stuff as well into their set.

Wow, this looks like a future Greatest Hits tracklist haha.
WOOHOO for Paper Wings, Blood to Bleed, Dancing for Rain, Savior, and The Dirt Whispered,
BOOHOO for Long Forgotten Sons and the sad-but-inevitable removal of Swing Life Away... such a good song to be a part of live =/.

I'm actually glad they took out "Swing Life Away" for an acoustic "Everchanging." They've played "Swing" every time I've seen them. I think this setlist is phenomenal except with the lack of another song or two off of "Revolutions Per Minute." Can't wait for the St Louis show saturday!
i'm really digging the set...Its going to be such a sick show, I can't wait.
Like a dick though, when they didn't announce a NYC show, i bought tickets for Philly...Long behold, they announced a NYC show haha Patience is a virtue

Yeah, the day they were playing Bamboozle, while I was there, I saw a flyer announcing that show. I figured they just had to wait until the 'Boozle was over. Anyways, should be a good show and the setlist above is much more balanced than the one I saw at the same venue we'll be it. Kinda funny how they initially could do two nights but now can barely fill up one night at Roseland.

i've seen rise against about 5 times now, various warped tours, a headline show at HOB in Orlando, opening for ak3 and thursday. by far one of the worst bands to watch live, and their fans are total assholes to the other bands. i remember one kid throwing shit at thursday's geoff as he was singing.

It's rather unfortunate that you make broad generalizations about a fanbase based on a few individuals.
That being said, if you don't enjoy RA live, that's your opinion and I respect that.

same situation at my show. not to mention their sound was terrible, everythign drowned togethe and you couldnt distinguish the difference between any song until the choruses
brand new was a totally different situation that night.
i have no idea how this band can get off headlining over far superior bands like brand new, alkaline trio, and rancid

i went to the denver show a couple nights ago. it was fucking incredible.
rise against set, i'm pretty sure, was the same as the one above.
here is what i can remember of rancids. and its probably going to be out of order.
Radio (first song)
Nihilism
Journey To The End of East Bay
Roots Radical
Fall Back Down
11th Hour
The Way I Feel
Time Bomb Rubo Soho
Maxwell Murder
Tenderloin
East Bay Night
Last One To Die
You Want It, You Got It
maybe one or two more of the new ablum
i think they might have played a few more. i think i remember hearing salvation but idk for sure.
nope, just proving your attempt at insult was idiotic and misplaced.
Even though I proved that you're clearly an idot if you really think they are the "worst live band" you have ever seen. Don't you realize how stupid of a comment that is? Even if you completely hate that band, I'm sure there's been bands that were MUCH worse live than they were. But no, Rise Against who put on a solid live show regurlarly, they're the worst. Good job!

went to the show in STL last night...as if the lineup was epic enough, the show was a rare outside concert in St Louis. Riverboat Gamblers had tons of energy and know how to have fun playing. Rancid proved why they were in fact punk legends and really moved the crowd. I was really surprised by how great they performed after almost 2 decades of releasing punk albums. Rise Against put on another great show. Easily one of the greatest live bands in the music business. Rise Against's setlist was the exact same as what later posts show. Rancid's setlist was:
Radio
Last One to Die*
Journey to the End of the East Bay
Roots Radicals
Nihilism
Olympia, WA
Salvation
Bloodclot
L.A. River*
Fall Back Down
Time Bomb
St. Mary
East Bay Night*
Maxwell Murder
Ruby Soho
I can't believe anyone would consider Rise Against the worst live band they've ever seen, especially having been to so many shows.
And seriously, if the songs all kind of blend together, you clearly don't listen to their music very much or the sound quality at the venue is shitty. I saw them with Alkaline Trio/Thrice/The Gaslight Anthem and they were fucking unbelievable.

Killswitch Engage, All That Remains and Whitechapel booked a show in Buffalo (Town Ballroom) on the same night and then they just combined the show with Rise Against, Rancid and Billy Talent.

Yeah I listened to Whitechapel and they were pretty fuckin awful. I'll deal w it though. If they're the opener I'll just chill and drink some more before going in or something similar.
And that is pretty sick you could hear Rancid songs between innings, but I think the highlight of the night was the game and the concert ending within 2 minutes of each other, and the Indians having the HUGE fireworks display that night.
You know the venue is downhill from Progressive Field so essentially everyone was walking out of the open end of the amphitheater towards Progressive Field right after that amazing concert ended on a night with perfect weather...and there's all these fireworks lighting up the night sky. It was seriously one of the coolest things I've witnessed, probably because I enjoyed myself so much.

Haha I remember that during the break between Rancid and Rise Against one of my friends wondered aloud what the score to the game was. So I checked ESPN MVP on my phone and I was like "Dude, it's 12-7 Cleveland in the (6th or 7th) inning. They've totally got this!" And then I was in Flannery's Pub after we walked back to the hotel and I got a much needed shower (my 2 friends hung back and stayed dry) and saw the final was 14-12. I was like "Holy hell, that's why they were still playing at almost 11:00"

i'm honestly hoping there's a ton of people that bail on the show due to the mix, one way or the other. the agri-center is gonna be hot as balls, and with 2 different groups of fans (in most cases) rolling in...i don't want it to be absolutely packed.

just got back from the super show in buffalo combined with the killswitch engage tour
i didnt see any band but billy talent rancid and rise agaisnt though
and this show re-establishes my opinion that rise against is the worst live band in music. after the first time i said 'hey its ok, maybe the sound at the ub show just sucked'...............nope. every song sounded very hollow and like it was draped in reverb cranked up to 11. everything mushed together and sounded like shit. i think i figured out why too. they have 2 huge cabinets on each side of the stage pointed into the stage instead of into the crowd (and this is on top of monitors and ear pieces). i think it just makes everything sound like fucking mush
rancid however. killed it like always.
tim's not as fat as he was before dominoes came out either.
got a setlist for them. and the songs:
-radio
-11th hour
-st mary
-last one to die
-journey
-roots
-niahilism
-olympia wa
-salvation
-bloodclot (did that straight into transition like they did on the wieney roast)

Buffalo was amazing. Every band was great.
There were 2 stages on opposite sides of a big fieldhouse(as in, facing each other)
The barrier broke 3 songs into Billy Talent, which then it was announced that there would be a half hour break to fix it.
Half hour passed, nothing happens, til it's announced that Killswitch will be playing next on the opposite stage. So everyone charges over to the other side, pretty funny.
Killswitch was amazing as always, I used all my energy during their set and had no clue how I'd be able to survive 3 more bands.
Billy Talent did the rest of their set next, then Rancid, then Rise. All ruled.

^What was the order? Whitechapel, All That Remains, Billy Talent[well, technically supposed to be for killswitch],Killswitch, Rancid, Rise?
Man, that'd be a pretty sweet deal for 50ish or whatever it was. My buddy went and said Rise was just ok, and played a shitty set[song selection wise]
