Jeff (Say Anything, Hot Rod Circuit) and Jake Turner (Say Anything) have posted a plethora of demos for their own project, XO (http://www.myspace.com/xotheband), on the band's pureVOLUME.com (http://www.purevolume.com/xotheband) page.

I like that name for a band, although I don't really know why.

The name for the band came from one of our favorite albums of all time. Elliott Smith's - XO. Definently not Fall Out Boy. haha... But yea we just noticed the other day thats the last song on their new CD. Oh well.. haha.. Hope you enjoy the songs!
Thanks,
Jake & Jeff (XO)

I actually heard this band a while back, I think. Did they record with Andy from HRC? My band did as well, such a cool guy. Anyway, really cool songs!

While Max is a genius these are very good, especially for demos.

I lost track of Hot Rod Circuit years ago, but I don't remember either of these dudes being in that band?

I saw these guys play a few shows when they were with their old band, Parkside View, at a local church. They're really great performers and these demos are promising.

Sooo good. I like "A Feast," a lot.

This reminds me of another band though, I dunno. Especially the vocals. The Junior Varsity or Park or something. Or maybe it's just so good that it feels like I've known it all along.

Whatevs. I love it.
