It's absolutely hilarious and also very true.

If your not a regular Simmons reader, your really missing out.

Ditto. I never read books, but a book by him might just peak my interest.

"The game made me feel the same way I felt while watching "March of the Penguins." I had always wondered what a penguin's life was like; once I knew how depressing it was, I wanted to sit in my garage with the car running."

"Nobody cared that the last 12 points of the game came during garbage time",

Nobody cares that pretty much ALL of Wilt's were garbage time. Has anyone seen the final score to that game? Also, the man brought the team back from a 20-point halftime deficit. Doesn't he deserve to play the last 5 minutes? He single handedly won the game.

"or that Kobe took a jaw-dropping 45 shots and 20 free throw attempts in 42 minutes"

He hit over 60% dude. How can you criticize that? Why would you not keep shooting if you were hitting 60%? That's like telling Barry Bonds to start bunting, or Wayne Gretzky to start focusing on Defense. Was it his fault the Raps were fouling him?

damn, I was just about to put that same quote here. This man is a genius, especially after he shit on Isaah Thomas just a week or so ago

And this one too
The best reaction belonged to Jackson, who seemed amused, supportive and somewhat horrified, like how Halle Berry's husband probably looked after sitting through his first screening of "Monster's Ball."

I think hes just admiring just hard it is to TAKE 45 shots and 20 fts in 42 minutes....

I mean, 20fts is at least 10 possessions, that means that every 4 minutes he is on the line. Moreover, he took over a shot a minute, which means he practically shot every possession he was in, since their are usually about 3-4 possessions in a minute, he shot in at least 2/3 of them.

Hahah, exactly... this is an accomplishment in its own right.

Plus, he had an assist to point ratio that no other player will probably ever match, 40.5:1, thats gotta be another record.
