There's very little you can do to actually study for it, so don't sweat it. Take a practice test or 2 if you feel like you really need to, just don't stress out over it. I took mine on 5 hours of sleep, with a bit of a hangover, and got a 31 with a 34 on the science.

Try not to fall asleep during the test like I did.

Haha yeah i will try not to.
I'm not too worried about the Reading and Writing sections because those are my strengths. The science is meh because I believe most of it is just graphs. What makes me nervous is the Math section. I suck at math.
I'm taking it Saturday too. Took the SAT last Saturday, it was pretty easy, just obnoxiously long and split into like ten different sections when they could've done it in three or four.
What kind of science is on this? Science is my least favorite subject, so I'm not looking forward to that section.

I'm not completely sure about the Science but, for the most part, I think it is looking at a bunch of graphs and just answering questions about them.

I meant to mention something about that as well. It's kind of overwhelming,, with the entire science test consisting of 1 page of graphs and info and the other page having 3 or 4 questions over all that information. As long as you don't let the huge amount of info for each few questions bother you, you'll be fine.

During my SAT, my whole class was packing lips..really calmed me down.
ACT is pretty easy, just go on the website and do some practice questions and you'll be fine. The science is just reading and charts, you don't really need to know much about science, and the math wasn't that bad.

The ACT was way easier than the SAT. It's just like any of the proficiency tests you take throughout grade school. I ran through one half-length practice test to study and ended up getting a 32...but I'm generally a pretty good test-taker. It depends on a lot of things.

I got my SAT score today and I just figured I'd check to see if my ACT score was up yet, and I was really surprised to see it was. Maybe I got lucky and mine was like the first one graded or something.

What is the point of the SAT and ACT? As far as I know, we don't have any test like that in Ontario/Canada besides the literacy test we do in grade 10, which a monkey could pass.

It gives you a number that colleges get to judge you on.

For anybody taking it for the first time, remember to work faster than you usually do, especially on the science section. Time goes by a lot faster than you would think. I got a 28 on it, but I know I could've done better if I payed more attention. :P

I fell asleep and got a 30. You should be fine. As long as you haven't been sleeping through high school.
