the Ghostwrite.
Baltimore, MD acoustic-indie-folk-punk
Solo acoustic project I stared in October 2007. Influenced by bands such as Endless Mike and the Beagle Club, Propagandhi, Bad Religion, amongst many others. The music currently being created probably sounds more like a pissed off Elliott Smith than the above influences, and even then, the biggest comparison to Elliott Smith would probably be that I double my vocals. Lots of people from western PA will probably notice an Alan Smithee Project vibe in some of the songs because I grew up with this band and watched them destroy community centers and punk houses quite frequently in the early 2000s. I'm also influenced by literary masters such as George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, William Blum and Ira Levin, amongst many others. Personally, I am influenced the most by my friends, family and the people I meet along the way.

I am currently doing a northeastern/upper midwestern public transportation tour with my friend, Jon Creeden (http://www.myspace.com/guyoncouchmusic) from Ottawa, ON. Another midwestern tour, along with some Ontario dates will follow in August.
