Tie between Ideas of God In the West Since 1950: my professor spent more time talking about why his life sucked (perhaps to explaion existentialism, I'm not sure) than teaching, and when he did he made us read Kant and Kierkegaard...and this was a low level class.

Magic, Withcraft and Religion: we used the EXACT SAME SYLLABUS as Anthropology of Religion...a class that I received an A+ in year ago. Waste of $$$.

Dynamics...it is the sole reason that I am no longer an engineering major. Everyone in the class got below a 60 on the first test, so I dipped out so quick...I got straight A's in all my other engineering classes which made it all the more bullshit.

I had an English teacher in high school who did that. She gave anyone who disagreed with her opinion a C in spite of how well the writer defended his argument. But the books we read that year are some of my favorites, so my opinions on her are somewhat mixed.

The class I hated most was my Islamic Societies class this semester. I'm extremely interested in the subject, but my professor was terrible and ruined the class for me.

English 101\102... I got a 97% in English 101.... and somehow only 4 kids got A's... I think I hate this class mostly because i feel my University (SIUE) is full of fucking morons. Peer Reviews are embarassing and have not given me any feedback on any of my papers yet at all. The whole class is just writing 4 papers and i feel like i have to sit through my professer guiding the other kids in the class through every step of each paper. I am so pissed at myself for choosing AP Micro\Macro economics over AP English in highschool (only 1 class period for each and they both happened to be at the same time)

i find that the majority of the time..hate for a course stems from shitty prof/teacher.

a course I "hate"...prob advanced pharmacology lab...we have to write up 20page lab reports minimum...weekly...for 10 weeks. Most of our labs are unsuccessful so it's disappointing. Oh, and the lab itself lasts six hours so it takes up pretty much all of my Tuesday...anyone in college knows that that will fuck u up in terms of class scheduling.

Every year before now, English has been my absolute favorite subject.

But this year my freshman English class has been pretty miserable. My high school doesn't offer any honors options until junior year, so the skill levels in my class are so varied it would probably be funny if those of us who can tell similes from metaphors didn't have to constantly wait for those who can't. Not to mention the fact that my teacher is something of a whack job whose methods are hopelessly dated. (Let's just say she likes to preach celibacy at completely random times. One day she got on a soapbox about how Emily Dickinson was a virgin for no apparent reason.)

Oh well. I already talked to the guidance department to make sure there's no way I get her again next year for American Lit, so hopefully things are better then.
