Super Mario World vs. Sonic The Hedgehog 2

Everybody's making video game polls all of a sudden. So, here are 2 classic games that I've been playing alot lately. For the record, when I had SMW, I was able to beat it using Star Road (thank God for the Wii Virtual Console), and I have never been able to beat STH2. Which one do you prefer?

I beg to differ. If some of these games are put up against a legitimate game, mario will lose. (but then again, these games were not real mario games)

Sonic!!! number 2 (on master system) was my fav as well, best one as it was just before it got too fast and i couldnt even fathom what was happening on my screen, gotta love the hang gliding levels
