It`s a shame Poison The Well have to support Underoath .... and not the other way round ...

Reality check: UnderOath is more popular than PTW ever was through its entire career, and as cities burn COMBINED. And you could probably throw another obscure hardcore act in there and it's still more popular than all of them COMBINED.

Now please commence your disbelief once again.

that's what happens when you change your sound into something that everyone wants to hear, also known as garbage. PTW was on their way to this but they had to take a two year break before putting out more shit. Maybe theyll catch up to Underoath, we can only hope.

Sorry, but I think Underoath is one of the only hardcore bands doing it right. Being catchy is a good thing, kids.

You know they have hardcore elements in their music. What would you call them...some stupid subgenre name? Why do people have to freak out when someone classifies a band. There are a million types of hardcore, metal, punk, etc. Come on. Keep things simple. They are heavy, lots of screaming...its hardcore, with some singing. And this tour will be sweet. And I am going to skip Poison The Well. Cause they blow.

Yeah, labels and genres are as good as subjective and arguing over them is equivalent to arguing over shades of colors.

Its funny, they have more "hardcore" elements in their music than underoath does. Tell me how underoath is hardcore, please explain it. Does screaming make you a hardcore band? NO. So unless you have an argument just shut it.

I actually agree that Underoath should headline this tour. Do you really think that Poison the Well is going to come out of hibernation and up and headline? As cities burn's debut album is way better than the last two ptw albums combined, and Underoath is blowing up right now, so it makes alot of sense.

Everything by As Cities Burn that I've heard sounds JUST LIKE underoath. So to me, it's like seeing them twice in one night, which is a little much for me.

I wish I could agree with the people who say PTW should headline, but I know Underoath is better.
If this comes by St. Louis, I'll be there strictly for Poison the Well.

Really?!?! You think UnderOath and As Cities Burn sound the same? Is there anyone else that thinks they do?....Maybe I'm way off, but to me they sound nothing alike! You should pick up an As Cities Burn cd at one of their shows, they sell it for $5.

2. You're crazy, ACB are good, but not better then PTW.

Seriously, the argument is old, no one cares. Hardcore is dead. Underoath puts on a phenomenal live show, and makes music more people care to listen to. This will be an amazing tour, and I can assure you PTW arent insulted to be supporting underoath, so just shut the fuck up and stop being insulted for them, because you just sound stupid.

it's stupid to argue about who should/shouldn't headline. Underoath is one of the best live acts i've seen. I've never seen Poison the Well so i'm excited about that. And i've seen As Cities Burn and they put on a great show as well. This will be a great tour!

its not about posion the well versus underoath. you people need to realize its about plain business. Promoters are worried about making money and the draw. underoaths draw is immensely bigger then posion the well at the moment and thats how tours are packaged.

Speaking of scene, that sure was a unneccesary comment. Just havent dropped a line in a thread in a while and you had nothing else better to say, but you still needed that extra little scene point to meet your scene quota? I would consider my comment very UNSCENE actually, seeing as how 90 percent of underoaths fanbase now days is only aware that they have a c.d entitled "they're only chasing safety". Go to one of their shows now. Out of the zillion people that are there, even if they play something as recent as a song off of "the changing of times", all but 2 or 3 people in the front that are singing along in the front are playing grabass, putting on mascara, painting nails, etc... because they've never heared anything but songs off of their new album before.

i disagree wiht almost everyone on this thread. I think this will be a great tour, a kick ass tour as a matte rof fact. Poison the Well is amazing, as well as As Cities Burn. UnderOATH puts on a kick ass show...and thats all that matters. I hate all the scen kids too...the ones that sit int he front that move around and mouth random words or w/e and look like idiots cuz they don't know any of the words to any of the songs fomr the band. I get that all the time...but you know what? You just have to ignore it and enjoy the music the way you want too. for me, that's starting a mosh pit in the fornt where all those scene bastards are (lol)...and supporting the band by showing my appreciation for them.

I agree wiht the guy that said it was a "promotor's dream" to have UO headline and PTW support.....but that doesn't mean I think it's an outrage. The fact that three great bands are on one tour together is great. Fuck "support bands" and "headliners"....I hate titles. they are great bands on tour together to promote themselves and their albums, and to play their music for the fans that love them.

can't wait for this one....

God, I'm so sick of this place. All I said was that IN MY OPINION, from the few(2) songs by As Cities Burn that I've heard, they sound like Underoath to me. And that makes me deaf/retarded? No, it means I have a different opinion of them. I never said I know everything there is to know about ACB and I hate them and they suck. I never said that anyone who likes them are morons or have horrible taste in music.
I simply stated my opinion. And you know what, I checked out "Bloodsucker, Pt. II", and I have to stand by my statement.

But you know what, I will go to this show with an openmind. I'm not looking forward to seeing them, but I'm open to checking them out at the show.
